he is 11 months old, very stubborn and treats the cage like its a fire pit. he weighs 65-70 lbs and i literaly have t take the top off the cage and pick him up and place him in there. he looks at me and breaks my heart i hate it! i know its suppose to be the best but its so painful, which is why he is 11 months old and he isnt trained in there yet (we have only had him since feb) i put food in there, even hot dogs and he still is terrified.i need suggestions? its actually not for potty training, he doesnt do that if we are home, its that he tears stuff up when we leave so we want to crate him at that time, but want him to willingly go in there. it is padded

I have a chocolate lab that is 18 weeks old.

usually gets a little adult food from my kids here and there.

that being said tonight she threw up 5 times. I noticed in her puke that she had ate some smoke sausage (cracker and cheese kind). She also threw up last night before eating this. I just was wondering what could be the problem? She is up to date on all shots. I do have a cat in the house. I have stopped her from eating cat turds in the past.

does not get chocolate.

I have a 2 and a 3 year old.

share everything with her. I will let my vet know. I just think her stomach is upset. If it is the parvo after the shot what are the chances of her being ok? Last night she was eating on some grass.which means as I know her tummy is upset. I will call my vet in the morning and explain everything.

vet said she just had a upset stomach. It was probably from eating something she didn't agree with.

is all better now.

i already have a lizzerd id like a pet thats cage doesnt have to be cleand that often and is nice and wont bite that has fur ps my dogs HATE other dogs PLZ help me thankyou so much!

Well, here's the situation. I have adopted a 4 month old German Shepherd that was abandoned and had been found by another family. He's a great dog and is very loving but I'm having some trouble with his bad habits. 1) He likes to gnaw and occasionally bite while playing. 2) He likes to bark at me when I reprimand him. 3) He likes to steal food. 4) He has a problem with peeing.

much the usual bad habits all puppies get.

he's 4 months old and is 50 pounds of solid muscle.

peeing is what I'm having the big problem with. I literally have to take him no less than 10 times a day on a walk, two of those being long 30 minute walks. He seems to have a hard time holding his pee and has me getting up at 2 am to clean his mess up and to take him out for a quick restroom break. So, What would be the best way to correct these things.

has anybody else had a dog with a similar peeing problem, and what did you do to solve it? Thanks in advance. Justin

I've gained a ton of weight since I moved out of my parents' house, because I can't cook. I know how to make mashed potato casserole, tacos, spaghetti, hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken quesadillas.

else can I make that's pretty easy (i.e. no off the wall ingredients) I also don't know how to put meals together. I know I should eat vegetables, but what goes with what? Corn goes with everything. Help, before I eat so much pizza that I don't fit out the door!

i have read some comments on yahoo answer, and it's really confussing me, some people call cross breeds mongarals like a jack russell cross border terrier thats a mongeral apparentley i hate that name) but when you hear of a labradoor cross poodle it's not a cross breed or a mongeral but it's classed as a designer dog whats the differance.

any one tell me there opinion please

My puppy is 6 weeks old. I got her at 4 weeks and 2 days (I got her just before she was going to be dropped off with her siblings to the SPCA). I have her leash trained and crate trained.

is either being held, in her crate, on the leash being watched, or outside.

is ALOT of work, but so far only one pee accident that I did not catch and rush her outside.

has not once pooped in the house. It is going great! But how long do I need to do this? When we go outside, she will pee and/or poop immediately and than run to me, tail awagging, to come in.

she will still squat in the house obviously as she can't hold it and even if she could, she doesnt' know how to ask for what she wants like my older dog. I meant at what age.

now I dont' trust her for 30 sec.

I had 6 dogs already that ran deer but they were all lost last hunting season. I now have 8 walker dog puppies and i have never trained dogs myself how can i train them could i use deer scent or do i need a fur or should i buy an older dog already running deer?
