On Its me or the dog .?
the lady person (sorry cant remember the trainer lady's name) used whats called sound divertion (making a loud noise (such as a blow horn) to startel the dog when she/he is doing something wrong) to stop a dog from stealing food off the table.
in the episode it actually worked. Do you think using this same method to stop my dog when she is peeing in the house is a good idea? or will it just starle her and make her pee more? pros? cons?

Don't do it.
could possibly startle the dog enough that she will be afraid to urinate in front of you, which will make housetraining impossible.
need to do it the tried-and-true way: supervision and confinement to prevent accidents, scheduled feedings and potty breaks, lots of praise and treats when she goes in the right place.
